About the Event
Data Mine Advisory Board planned an Upperclassmen Panel Event aimed for Freshman and Sophomores (but everyone was welcome). We had 6 main channels in Discord. Each channel had a upperclassmen that the students can ask questions and have a discussion about their major.
Majors:
Computer Engineering
Business
Chemistry
Computer Science
Agricultural and Biological Engineering PhD
Physics
Purpose of Event:
To let younger students ask questions about classes, minors, concentrations, internship, research, job search, etc. The upperclassmen have an insight that even advisors do not have. This event let students from different majors find out what to do in their future years at Purdue.
